I'd post more often, but by the time I do my email, and check out You Tube, there is not much time left. I spend way too much time on You Tube.
My favourites there, tend to people who can teach me something:
HistoryTeachers
The ABSOLUTE BEST video, singing, dancing, and learning on the web, bar none. Great songs, Great music, and LOTS of learning about history, culture, and humanity. Way too much talent here. (I will say more later!) They might be listed first for a reason!
onelonleyfarmer
A farmer in New Jersey who puts out the most incredible videos. He is cataloging everyday life on the modern farm. One heck of a hard working guy. And a great guy at doing fixit stuff. He's had some bad luck as of late, but he has a phenomenal sense of humor. Good luck to him!
siankummer
She and her friends (and brother) are the cutest, and niftiest Ukulele players on the web. From Australia, no less! Great music, and singing. She did 50 videos in a year! I've seen about half, and liked most of what I saw. She has a very varied taste in music.
simonandmartina
Two Canadians "stuck" in South Korea! They moved there to teach, and now do other work, but their blog "eatyourkimchee" is phenomenal. If you are down, and need something to kill depression, go here. They show you nifty Korean products you never dreamt could exist. Their commentary is wild. PLUS they have the cutest dog: Spudgy!!!! The "Spudgemeister" makes guest appearances!
cjhoylemusic
Another source of some interesting home made music videos. Do NOT miss "One Tin Soldier" which he did over the web with Sian Kummer!!! This guy is a pro musician.
HouseholdHacker
All kinds of tech tips. Some are tongue in cheek, I think (like the school cheating hacks)... But the Flower Pot Fridge is awesome... Something for everyone.
dsecms
A singing math/science teacher. Who'd a thought? But this guy is good! And, he involves his students from time to time. Hope to see more from him.
GREENPOWERSCIENCE
Dan and Denise teach you stuff about nifty ideas every day, from Water Solar Lenses, to Solar Cells, to whatever! Enough to inspire.
kipkay
A lot of cute videos about "mods" (lots of electronics, but lots of other stuff) you can make to everyday stuff. Some are a bit on the joke side, but educational and fascinating, none-the-less.
Stevespanglerscience
All kinds of neat little science demos. All are short, educational, fun, and have good humor. If you are a parent of a young child, and want to teach that child stuff, go here.
makemagazine These people are legit and professional. They even have their own real magazine. All kinds of interesting (generally electronic) projects you could make.
sxephil This is the Philip DeFranco You Tube site. A daily 5 or 6 minute comment on events in the world. Very professional. I regret not having the time to watch more of his stuff. Good commentary, humor, educational stuff, and wit. You have to go see! Listed last? Yes. But not least! (I think Phil would like that sort of non-sequiteur!)
I follow some others, but enough for now. I will try get back to comment later. Meanwhile: Peace, Good Luck, and enjoy!
